Re: RZR Frame Reinforcement Tubes

Johnny your calling the "Floor" in pic above labeled #3 the same thing Jason if referring to as the "Skid Plate". His thinking was "Floor" meant inside the cab where your feet sit on. I was also confused.

Do I get a discount for the clarification? Or a free DVD of Mayhem!! Lol!

I see where the 4 longer tubes go in the front and rear but where do the two shorter tubes go? Front or rear? Pics man!! lol I need pics!! haha

Great idea!

How long until the weld on gussets for the a arm mounts etc come? Somebody already makes them for Rhinos, its just a matter of making a pattern for the laser cutter. (hint hint)

Re: RZR Frame Reinforcement Tubes

Johnny got those tubes added and they worked out great. I think my rear top tubes were already bending a bit, as it was tight to get those in. The front and rear lowers slid right in. Nice work. We had to use a comalong and ratchet strap to push (right) and pull (left) to straighten my front sub frame which was out a full inch after going on its right side. My stock cage was pushed back and to the left and apparently took the front sub frame with it. She straightened right out and now that a new 095 DOM cage is going on it should stay there! For all you guys with stock cages either add tubing (I wouldn't waste my time) or get a new cage on there. Polaris really should have gone with thinker gage on at least the frame. I am bit worried that the frame may bend. But if it does at least I now have a custom fab guy that can fix it and make it stronger. Let us know when the gusset kits are available.

Re: RZR Frame Reinforcement Tubes

Actually it was snowing a bunch in the coast range today and accumulating with more tonight.
Above 500ft was heavy like where I work, not as it is in the east but we get rain for the most part and nuisance snow.
We leave tomorrow to go to Sandlake for a beach/riding area cleanup.
It should be interesting getting there. Two of the three routes people normally take have some rather mountainous terrain to navigate, the third we use is flat for the most part but does go by a river to the coast that can be icy and lots of not fun turns with dropoffs in nasty weather. Bring the chains and just go slow.

Re: RZR Frame Reinforcement Tubes

Well the SOLV cleanup was certainly interesting, we had snow, hail, rain and big winds throughout our time there, Thursday to Sunday.
Naturally Sunday turned out nice but woke up to a couple inches of snow that got rained out then the sun made an appearance.
Attendance was lighter than usual but our group did a good job cleaning the beach and riding area.
Overall a record amount of stuff was collected along the Oregon coast.
