Re: UTV Racing in the midwest
It's really what ever I want to make it. My track, my rules. But I was hoping to get some input from anyone on here that was interested.

Re: UTV Racing in the midwest
The extra $7k or so I've had to pay for my RZR over here I could have spent towards racing one over in the US I reckon, at least until they deported me.

Re: UTV Racing in the midwest
We at RZRtech are in! Chris, are you the guys that Eli has been talking to? If not then there's someone else wanting this too. We could easily be showing up w/ 4-5 race-prepped UTV's for each event. We've already been racing here in Michigan. I want to do a full series in collaboration w/ a few tracks. MIDWEST SERIES!

I'm the guy. That's exactly what I want to get going, a MIDWEST SERIES. And also a local series at each track. I want to get UTV racing in the midwest going. Since you've been racing you might have to come down for a weekend and give us some suggestions on how to make this track UTV friendly. We can bypass things and build more but we will have to keep the track near ready for the state MX series. But I think we can come up with a good mixture for both.

Re: UTV Racing in the midwest
Sounds good. I don't think we have to change too much. Just some bypasses for some of the really huge stuff if there's a stock class. We've been hitting almost all of the big stuff here with no problem. I think the biggest issue to deal with is a lot of the lips are kind of kickers, this works good for the bikes and quads but most UTV's are bucking pretty hard on these. That can get pretty nasty on a big double... We've got our shop ride tuned in pretty good w/ the Elka's, so I know it's possible and I wouldn't expect any track owner to be reshaping their jumps between every race.
Chris, shoot me a PM when you get a chance and we can start talking about this. I see no reason why we couldn't have a series in action by next spring. Thanks!
