Which type of LED whip do you prefer?
There are basically two types of LED whips right now; the std. version with LED's that go all the way up the whip and display pin points of light, and then there's the fiber optic version.
THE QUESTION IS: If you're in the market for a new LED whip, which type do you prefer? I'm NOT looking for which manufacturer you prefer, including if you're one of our customers. However, I of course appreciate those of you that have supported us ![]() We have a VERY nice fiber optic whip design that we can begin production on at any time. We've produced samples and done all the testing. But I don't know if it's worth putting the resources in to the project or not. This poll will help us decide. Please just respond by selecting "fiber optic", or "std. LED". We'd really like to hear from the dealers out there, too. Thanks in advance, everyone.

Re: Which type of LED whip do you prefer?
I have only had one of the two types...
What are the pros and cons of the two (in your opinion)?

I'll tell you my opinion when this is over. I don't want to taint the poll.

Re: Which type of LED whip do you prefer?
I'm partial to the LED's...but if the fiber optic was priced the same and you could see them as far.. who knows...

Re: Which type of LED whip do you prefer?
Jeff, I appreciate your vote and respect your whip of choice, but I edited out your brand preference to keep the poll on track, and not turn it in to a debate over which brand is better.
Please don't take offense

Re: Which type of LED whip do you prefer?
I've had plenty of customers tell me their LED whips held up on roll-over's.
