Enclosed Trailer Conversion

Hey all, we posted the entire build from start to current on the other forum that it won't let me post here.
Anyways, I started with a plain old Carson 16x8 box trailer we got for a KILLER deal and went from there.. if you're interested in seeing the build i'll put a couple of the important posts on here and give you guys an idea of what I'm doing here. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

The toy hauler as it stands as of last week!

We've been trying to fine tune the bed setup. Had to switch out the rear shocks for a lower pressure rating to help the rollers go down smoother, tomorrow my cabinets and beds are being stained.. Foam comes in for upholstery tomorrow and flooring is going to be done next week!

Flat screen mount is up, just waiting for the Samsung LED 22"

Vent above kitchen is done, gettin close!

Re: Enclosed Trailer Conversion

I have been thinking of doing the same thing with a 28'. I planned on making a full size bath room with shower. My problem is I can not figure out where to get the tanks, mounting them and also how to run the plumbing under it as not to drag it all over the highway. Can you upload some pictures of your tanks mounted and where you got them?

For any size / shape holding tank, you might try RV Parts, RV Accessories, RV Windows and Custom RV Parts @ All-Rite. They will make anything you need and have a lot of other RV related products you might need for your build. Good luck.

Re: Enclosed Trailer Conversion

exactly! I'm going to use it, believe me!

As for the tanks, I got everything from Plastic Mart.com and used angle iron, unistrut, and some nylock nuts to secure them to the bottom of the trailer

It was a day process to get all the tanks in and the plumbing run, not too hard though! The toughest part was getting the fittings just right for the tanks

Re: Enclosed Trailer Conversion

The couches do fold up like a toy hauler with a leaf for a bed

Hahaha, that tank company was great and I got almost everything for the trailer entirely online so if you need a source for anything let me know!
