Urban legend of lifts

There has been a lot of hype about lifts and cv binding. There is some truth to this but there are some that use this as a marketing tool to sell their product. No matter how you stack it up, when you add lift you begin to increase the angle of your cv joints. It doesn't matter if the increase comes from the bottom or from the top of the shock--the outcome is the same. It is a give and take. The real issue with lifts, that I have found, is with the steering box and tie-rod angles. Both of my tie-rod end boots are torn and I'm only running a so called 3" lift that everybody says gives no cv bind. There is a sweet spot with lifts, and there is none out there that can say "by using our lift you will encounter no problems at all"... I'm happy as a lark with my Roktek.....
