Second thoughts about aftermarket shocks?

Stop having them and order some today. I was a bit concerned when I first took the RZR out with my new WER Shocks, as I didn't notice a big difference on the vacant lot I went on. However, today I went out to Prairie City I was really impressed with the shocks. Right off I noticed a big difference. The bucking effect by the stock shocks that I felt over almost all bumps and whoops was greatly diminished or gone on most stuff. The ride felt so smooth and plush. I keeped slowing down on the whoops due to being used to the stock shocks but then I'd turn around and fly right over them. I must have turned around and said to my brother-in-law "I got to hit those again" 4 or 5 times. As the sun was going down I was able to jump back in the RZR just buy myself and I had a blast. I honestly felt like a kid again and never thought the RZR would be that much fun. Order aftermarket shocks today your back will thank you tomorrow and that smile on your face will stick with you all week! I can’t wait to go out again. On another note going from the sand to the mud and dirt I was again impressed with the power the RZR has. Damn these things are fast. What a great day! I still got the buzzzzzzzzzz…. Happy New Year!

(BTW I bought my shocks from Badlands ATV located in IN for $1399)

Re: Second thoughts about aftermarket shocks?

I tested a few shocks over the weekend and absolutely LOVE how the aftermarket valveing and reservoirs make a difference.
I went with the AFCO because I felt their affect on different surfaces worked the best for my riding style (fast and bumpy).
I don't think you can really go wrong with any of the aftermarket stuff with reservoirs.

Re: Second thoughts about aftermarket shocks?

Do you have a phone number or website for Badlands? I tried looking them up and I can't find them online anywhere. Which model of shocks did you get?

Thanks!

Re: Second thoughts about aftermarket shocks?

But did you compare them to the AFCO's?
I ask because I'm looking for another set on my other RZR and felt the WERS kicked too much in the rear as I felt a loss of control versus the AFCO's, especially over the whoops.
I guess I'm curious because a few went with the WERS and I want to know if it was compared to the AFCO's or just a purchase based on money?

Radflo also offers aftermarket shocks for the RZR. We offer the shocks with or without an adjuster.
