I have the 3 inch roktek on my gen2 08 and love it . If you have a regular 09 and not the s, I see no reason why the roktek would not work on it.

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

The Xtreme lift will work on the 09's with a little work.. The 09's have a lip about 3/16" thick around the upper rear shock mounts.. This keeps the rear lift brackets from sitting flush against the frame. Two things can be done here to make the lift work.. Either grind down the lip or install spacers the thickness of the lip between the lift bracket and the frame. If spacers are used you will have to use longer bolts than what comes with the kit. You will also have to use washers to center the shock in the shock bracket.
We here at Xtreme are currently working on new brackets for the 09'. They should be available soon.

Do the 2" lifts fit the 09, I thought they only mounted to the bottom shock mount?

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

tthx guys. think im gonna buy the roktek and grind the tabs down. Extreme has a great lift and i like their products and customer service but you cant beat the price of the roktek and it looks exactly like extreme and has quick disconnects.

ralph, im not buying this for about 2 weeks maybe 1. pm if you finish your new 3 inch lift before that

birdman, if you dont mind what did you pay for the 6 inch?

The only thing to remember is this.. The Roktek kit does NOT include the aluminum spacers for the front springs *unless he just recently changed this*.. Without these spacers you are not going to get 3" of lift. Probably closer to 2" or maybe a little less.

Take care and have a good day.

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

I ride for slc. His start out at 3200 plus tax I believe. Cheaper than catvos. So I can't go there. He also has a ten inch kit. I started out with the extreme 3" as well. Just wanted bigger. LOL

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

Ralph , just went out to the shop to see what you were talking about , I see the lip and was wondering why I had to buy longer bolts , thought maybe you sent the wrong bolts with the kit . Great lift kit and works well just wish I was told about the lip .

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

I sell the Roktek lift for 189.99 plus shipping. If someone wants the aluminum spacers it is only 30.00 dollars more. In my opininon the spacers give a very stiff ride. I prefer the lift and if you feel your stock springs dont hold you up high enough then I would spend the money and get highlifter springs. Thanks for the compliment jerrzr. Maybe soon I can work up a deal where I add highlifter springs to my kit and sell it as a package deal.

Re: 3 inch lift for 09

I went with the roktek lift and highlifter springs own my own accord. Forget about the spacers because all they do is limit your travel. I went with Roktek based on reason. 1.Same quality as others but at a more economical price. 2. Offered a new dimension of having quick dissconnets for the front sway bar. 3.And what sold me the most, after the fact, on Roktek is the quickness of delivery and when I opened the package to see that the quality exceeded my ecpectations. Awesome job Roktek!!!
