How to keep ITI sway bar from moving?

Or, should it move side to side a bit? I am running just the rear ITI sway bar with +6in long travel. It moves side tio side a couple inches over time. Problem is gets up into my nice purdy exhaust cans for the street bike engine and damages them. I have the clamps torqued down as much as I am comfortable with but there is no groove or anything to stop them from moving and since the bar needs to rotate seems like it might need to move side to side a little. Its just a round metal bar with two clamps to go around the bar to hold to the frame. Maybe put a couple extra clamps that really bite into the metal so something to atleast limit how far it moves? I dont know how much force it really has when moving side to side if they would prevent anything aor cause strees on other parts if limited. If so, any idea for a specific clamp that would hold to the smoothsolid steel bar? Or, maybe I will just remove it ...
