I am having a lot of trouble trying to figure out which way the cv cage goes on the rear diff side. Does the bigger side of the cage face the diff or the axle. Also the flared out edges, on the housing, that keep the balls in, do you need to remke them, or tack weld the housing?
Pictures would probably be the best if anything.

Try calling one of the suspension companies. They pull them apart all the time. I think the bigger part goes towards the diff, but I can't remember.
