Which ones did you go for?

I started the dialog with Steve but after I answered his 20 questions I didn't get an answer to my one. Not done with that yet--just been attending to other things.

Went with the MT1 (non res). Given the kind of riding I do "we" didnt think the resi would be needed. I am mostly looking for less bottoming out, more ground clearance, smoother ride, just an overall improvement.

Sounds like what I'm after. Seems like most want stiffer springs and there have been several posts commenting on the harsher ride with aftermarket shocks. I like the stock spring rate but want better shocks for better control.

What sold me was his comment that they found a way to eliminate the stiff low speed ride while still being able to hit the whoops etc.

I will let you know how I like them. I have about 200-300 miles of riding coming up the first week of Sept. so it should give me a good feel.

Re: I finally placed the order

I did the install but thats it so far. I did gain 1/2" ground clearance over the stock shocks cranked all the way up.

And they do not clear DPI CV guards. Then again, DPI guards also rubbed on my stock rims and hit the Lone star rear brace!

I have a 300 miles ride this coming weekend with forrest roads, rock crawling, etc which should make for a good test. I'll do a full report afterwards.
