Re: Rubberdown Lift!

Are wheel spacers required with this lift? I would like to continue to run my stock tires and wheels at this point but need a couple of inches more clearance.

The kit was designed to work with stock wheels and tires, HOWEVER, it seems that something might have changed in the rear suspension geometry somewhere along the lines. I have probably got 300 of these kits out in the market place and I have had 2 issues with stock wheels rubbing the shock in the rear after the install. I have plans sitting on my desk in front of me to try a slight angle adjustment on the rear kit to hopefully correct this rare problem but I have not had a chance to finish it and get it out to my tester. I'm hoping to have them in the mail by Friday for testing, then its just a matter of time before he gets the parts and puts them on his machine.

For the most part, spacers have not been needed, but I wont tell you that YOU will not need them for sure, sorry...

Re: Rubberdown Lift!

Who made those exo-skeleton pieces? It looks great.

Has anyone had their kit on for an extended period of time? I am curious how it affects the wear of the CV's, tierods, and ball joints...... I am sure any lifted unit could "most likely" experience an accelerated wear... I am really tempted to purchase a Rubberdown lift. If I do decide to lift my RZR, Rubberdown will the kit I purchase due to how he stands behind his product and his customer support.

Re: Rubberdown Lift!

The was a long Thread pertaining to the Rubberdown lift kit. If I recall correctly, there was no complaints to this point. I have about 300mi on mine with no issues and have put the machine to the test. Many other members have way more miles than me and no one is complaining.
