What shock should I go with

I live in N.C, and most of miles will be trail riding. I do like to jump it though, and that is where the problem is. Every time I jump it bucks the rear end up. I know it is not the jump. I was able to cut one out of a hill today with my bobcat. I kept cutting the angle, and it kept bucking. Naturally the smaller the angle, the smaller the buck, but it was still there. I am looking for a upgrade, but do not want to spend 1000 a pair on shocks.

Is the length of your ramp long enough? If it's short the rear suspension will still be compressing when the front leaves the ramp. As the back tires hit the peak the rear springs are on the rebound and will kick out, pushing your nose down. On a short ramp about all you can do is to goose the throttle right at the top of the jump and try to shift some weight to the rear.

I am leaning toward Walker Evans shocks, like it added a little more wheel travel and adjustable clickers?

As far as your jumping liked what mark comment on the jump!

ELKAs have a rebound adjustment so you can slow down the rebound and stop that bucking. I think the new I Shock does also.
