don't know for sure but have had alot say 2 inch lift is about as far as ya can go safely...guess it would depend on how and where you ride mostly.

Re: suspension suggestions

You can go with the Xtreme Products 3" RZR kit and will be fine with stock axles...
Most broken axles are caused by more aggressive tires and more aggressive riding style than by the lift kit.

Re: suspension suggestions

I'll agree with Ralph that most broken axles are caused by rider error and tires. The way I see it, these motors (big bores in general) have a ton of power, and enough power to usually torn these big tires, in not enough power, what do we do, we mod it up to have enough power to turn these big tires with a clutch kit or whatever. So something as to give when you grab onto a root or rock or whatever might be hiden under all that mud and water, wheather its the gears in the transmission or the axle shaft, or the CV joints etc etc, the motor has the power to keep turning, and thats where the breakage happens. and since the gears and axle shafts are quite beefy, it usually comes down to the weekest link, being the CV joints.

Anyways, enough of my "theories" LOL. I make a 2", lots of guys also run a 3", I also have an add-on to give you more than 2" but it all comes down to how hard you ride your machine IMPO.

Re: suspension suggestions

i ride mine pretty hard but its just in mud and water. I want to lift it and put a 28" r 29" tire. I went riding today in the mud with a 500 foreman and 2 420 ranchers that all had 28" mud lites and i PUSHED everyone of them out of this mud hole we went in.
