Re: FST Motorsports +6 Suspension!
I have set for "general use" or "in the middle" for the dampening. Lets see how that works. The kit should be here in a few days.

It is because Torrey sets the suspension up to brake in not brake out. He caculates his spring rate to what he wants the rate to be totally compressed which actually ends up being a little longer dual rate spring combo than what actually fits in the shock so they initially have more preload giving you that stiff feeling. Most other companies set up to what feels the best initially and as the spring brakes in you can sometimes be to soft. With FST 1 or 2 years down the road there shouldn't be any need for revalving or cranking more preload into the spring to stiffin it up because of sag. So with FST after that 500 to 700 mile range (depending on how you drive) the spring should be broke in or settled in giving you the ride you desire and still handling the big stuff with minimal bottoming. I hope that helps.

Re: FST Motorsports +6 Suspension!
Well, I got the kit today and dove right in. There were 2 small braces for the front upper support. No biggie, I called FST and they are sending me out next day the pair. Hell, I even decided to get the turbo today also. Its going together quite well. I wish they had pictures in their -how to- but I got some from their web site. I thought I was gonna use the RZR this weekend. NOT.... Im having fun though......

Re: FST Motorsports +6 Suspension!
Ok, I actually didnt wanna mess with the shafts so I took them to a shaft place. Damn 600 bucks later they gave me my shafts with the new FST arms. Great. Meanwhile I ordered the Gorilla for the rear! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!
The job is done except for the rear axles. They go in tomorrow and WHALA! FINITO! Bleed the breaks and get an allignment.

Re: FST Motorsports +6 Suspension!
That's really the only one I have that shows all the bracing that comes with this kit. That was when I was getting a new body.

With that pic you can see why you don't need to buy any of these gusset kits or tubing to slide up in the frame rails that some other companies sell this kit has bracing that takes care of all of that. The only people that have bent any frames with this kit are people that have crashed, hard rollovers or flips.
