to buy or not to buy??

hello again everyone,
thanks to all for your responses with previous questions. i was wondering if i should wait to buy a 2009 rzr or not and go ahead and get the 2008? any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated. my reasoning is all the problems the 2007's have had with the air box etc., etc.... thanks in advance for your input-

m

I was told the 2007 air filter was only held on by the lid and of course if you didn't put it on correctly, you could suck dirt through your motor. I believe they fixed that problem because my 2008 has a clamp on filter and the lid also holds it on.

Re: to buy or not to buy??

My 08, one of the first ones released, had a recall. They put some foam in the air box to hold the filter against the lid tighter. They also put in foam to help suck all of the dirty air from the cab area, instead of underneath the unit. I haven't had any problems, and I have 700 miles on it, mostly in dusty Baja.
