My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

Got tired of the limiting travel of the stock suspension, even with WER shocks so I bit the bullet and ordered the Polaris S suspension upgrade with the WER shocks.

Everything went well with the exception of missing parts and lousy packing by the vendor causing my a-arms to get banged up. Luckily I was getting the red arms powder coated black.

The install went well and I tested it on my drive way hump and over curbs and all I can say is "WOW'. What a difference in overall feel over bumps, etc. It sits about 2" higher since I have the Racertech 2" lift.

Here are some pics.

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

Great news. I just bought the same kit. Really looking forward to hitting the trails.

Where did you get your S down tubes to the rear?

Nice looking ride.

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

It's an S cage.

Thanks!! You will love this kit for the price.

I offset the cost by selling my OEM replacement WERS and other things.

Might we ask who the vendor was?

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

I am not going to air the vendors name over this forum. They know who they are and the issues that I had with this and other purchases to the point of having to speak to the owner.

It seems that the same people keep making the same mistakes so apparently the message has not trickled down to their packing/shipping dept.

Let me put it to you this way. I would not send things out to customers the way they do and one particular employee has a LARGE attitude when you call them out on it!!

That's all I have to say regarding that matter.

I love the kit!!!

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

Hey, I'm just around the corner from you in Chino Hills!
I just installed an S suspension on my rzr and the rear sway bar links are very close to the rear arms (i didn't get a new mount with the rear sway bar). Do you have this problem or did ur kit come with a new bracket of some sort??

Scott

It should come with the mount for the rear sway bar. It also comes with the rear frame gusset. I am glad that I had not bought one yet.

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

My kit is a Polaris kit and came with everything you need to install the sway bar correctly. It has a completely different bar, mount, links.

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

Is yours a gen 1 or 2 2008 RZR?
I was looking at your hitch to try and see, but it's a little hard to tell for sure.

I have a 2008 gen 3 RZR and the Polaris info said it wouldn't fit my RZR. It said 2009 & 2010 only.
What's up with that? Did you find a way to make it work?

I want to use the exact same parts you did. It looks great!

It will fit. Polaris strengthen the 09 and latter frames. Therefore, they do not recommend the long travel for the 08. All the nuts and bolts will fit.
