I was looking at your hitch to try and see, but it's a little hard to tell for sure.

I have a 2008 gen 3 RZR and the Polaris info said it wouldn't fit my RZR. It said 2009 & 2010 only.
What's up with that? Did you find a way to make it work?

I want to use the exact same parts you did. It looks great!
It will fit. Polaris strengthen the 09 and latter frames. Therefore, they do not recommend the long travel for the 08. All the nuts and bolts will fit.
If I were to use one of those chassis strengthening kits would it stiffen things up sufficiently to handle the long travel suspension & jumps???

What do you all recommend to do it right???

Re: My S Suspension With WER Shock Install

I have a Gen 1 with the UTVCRAP Chassis Tube strengthening kit. Racertech lift kit which strengthens the upper shock mounts. I keep a close eye on the stress points and have the means to weld in whatever gussets I will need.

I am about 13.5" to the bottom of the hitch receiver.

I hv a Gen 1 and with the UTV Crap tubes and LSR gusset kit, plus LSR bolt in frame supports and a few custom weld ins my RZR frame is stronger than anything Polaris has done to 2010 models. All I think they did was add a rear gusset and make the rear shock towers stronger. I have not heard really much else. The things above made a huge difference in strength. I air out my RZR PIG!! And she lands like butter... Pretty dialed in I must say for as heavy as she is (rear seat etc).

I would add most all above if I was going to air them out.
