New owner. Rookie question?

I'm glad I found this forum. Looks very informative. I see alot of chat about lift kits. Do these improve ground clearance? Thats the biggest issue I've run into so far.

Hi rawbone, WELCOME to the RZRForums!!

Not only does it improve clearance but the ride is supposed to be a pretty dramatic improvement. I'm running my stock suspension with AFCO resi shocks and I thought that was pretty awesome.
