stock shock settings
this has probably been answered 1000 times but I'm new so give me a break. what is the best setting for trail riding for the factory shocks? I have them at plus 1 on all for corners seems decent. Do you have to set them all the same or can you max the fronts and soften the rears or vice versa? what would the benefits be to doing this?

Re: stock shock settings
you adjust your shock to the type of riding that you do. if your rzr is stock and you just cruz it dont adjust them.

Re: stock shock settings
That is a tough question. I found that a RZR can out perform it's stock suspension pretty easily.
I think it all depends on how fast you ride. After two trips to the dunes in California, I found out that the stock suspension isn't up to the task of handling the dunes. It did OK for some slow speed trail riding, but take it up to any speed and you will be bottoming out the stock shocks pretty fast. Before the long travel was installed, all of the bump stops were broken.
Bottom line for setting up the spring rate is how fast you are going to ride. You can keep the spring rate pretty soft if you are going slow < 20MPH, but any faster and the springs have to be compressed more to keep from bottoming out from unexpecting bumps or whoops.

Re: stock shock settings
I don't do dunes. all woods and creek riding. Can fly through creeks. I would say I ride at a moderatly fast pace.If i set them on about the mid point in the front and leave them alone in th rear it should be pretty smooth. It feels like the rear is a whole lot stiffer than the fronts when they are on the same setting.
