Re: RZR Long Travel

Looks good for the sand. But I don't think it needs it for trail. I would like to pick up 3 inches or so with some rims and tires. But I'm going to try to force myself to wait until I need tires.

Re: RZR Long Travel

Brian believe it or not this kit is only about 3 to 4 pounds heavier than all of the stock stuff you remove to install it. It is obviously stronger Torrey did his home work I am sure the performance of this kit will be excellent!!!

I like the set up that custom motorsports has built. They have made it so you can use longer shock and get more travel. I dont like the shocks they use but can change. danny

But that set up has to use an already bent tierod and is hanging 6 inch over arms off the factory brackets. I like the front shock idea but you can only have so much travel before c.v. joints start having problems and before the frame gets into the ground.

I just went on there site and there only claiming just over 15 inches of travel and there using W.E.R. shocks which really arent a bad shocks. It actually looks like a well made kit it just does'nt have the frame bracing our kit does.

Re: RZR Long Travel

We have done all the frame gussets. Striped it down to bare frame when we put cage on. We have strengthen the whole car by using gussets and corner supports(095). The shocks towers, motor mounts, all rear cross sections and bottom of car have been strengthen. Up front we have added gussets to all were bumper ties in and already running heim joints to replace tierods. We have also built our own steering stabilizer that works great.
The car will not make page but we will try and make bitd nov. laughlin. By then it should have the new lt. kit just not sure which one. snafu

Re: RZR Long Travel

the top shock bracket for the rear on this kit, will it interfere with a twelve gallon fuel cell already mounted? some of these brackets make sense, others i can't quite picture? got any other photos? Are you going to offer a trophy truck fender like that or is that a one off? it looks really cool

I would have to have measurements of the fuel cell but I think it should fit. The body you saw on the black one is Full Bore and should be available very soon.

Re: RZR Long Travel

cool on the hood! I'll Try you get you some snap shots. Since I work at a polaris dealer are you looking for dealers? What better place to show case your stuff than on or with New RZR's. I know of at least one guy interested. We still have fifteen people on a waiting list to get a new one. Since I can't figure out how to get a pic on this site is there a p.m. place so I can send an e-mail.
Add. I just seen the pictures from the sand sport show, now all but 2 off the brackets make sense. I am almost certain the rear shock mount, though a tight squeeze will work under the fuel cell. You guys did a great job tying up the weak spots on the suspension pick up points.
Hope to here from you all soon

The fuel cell that Jagged X uses... I believe its a FuelSafe 12 gallon works with this kit no problem.

Re: RZR Long Travel

Saw this kit at the Sand Sports Super Show. Very interesting. Not quite sure about the shock positioning, but I do like the brackets that they have done. It was in the Rigid Industries booth. RI said that FST made the kit to their specifications.

There were no less than a dozen RZR long travel kits at the show. What I liked is they were all pretty different - so far. Now comes the copy cats.
