Faster Steering?

Is there a way to change the ratio on the rack and pinion? It would be nice if the steering ratio was faster.

I'm interested in this mod as well. Does anybody have one installed yet? Was there cutting and welding involved? or is it a bolt on?
Thanks

Re: Faster Steering?

Speedway has a 2 to 1 small quickener for $99 and they have the splined couplers and/or splined universal joints you will need to adapt it to your existing steering shaft.

Here is the site and a picture. Small Body 2:1 Steering Quickeners

I don't think anyone make a bolt in quickener kit. So you would have to fab your own brackets, cut your existing steering shaft, weld in splined couplers,,,etc.
If you can't do it any fab shop can.
