Rear bump stop
I blew out the stock bump stop on the rear pass side. I cant find the replacement part for this on all the Polaris parts sites or on the http://mattmans.com/polaris/upload/rzr.pdf site. It dose not even show it as a part on the shock. Daystar makes bump stops and look like they would work. I was wondering if anyone had any other info or a new shock they took off for long travel that they would like to sell me. thank you

Re: Rear bump stop
i would think a new set of take off stock shocks would be easier. i am pretty sure Johnny at Utv Crap sells them .

Re: Rear bump stop
i've had 3 replaced under warranty it's part of the shock, they dont sell the bumpers seperately.. if you do find some aftermarket bumpers that will work, please let me know..

Re: Rear bump stop
Daystar has them and the tool to get them over the eye ring. Here is a link for what I'm talking about. Rocky Mountain Suspension Products, bump stops

Re: Rear bump stop
I used bumper stops off Bilstien shocks.
I split the bumper stop by making a vertical cut so I could install it on the shock shaft.
I made two horizontal grooves around the bumper stop and then installed the bumper stops around the shock shaft.
I grabbed some mechanics wire and wrapped it around the bumper shock in the two grooves and tied them off.
I changed the shocks soon after BUT they did make it about 285 miles and still looked fresh. Well the wire was looking pretty crappy but good wire would solve the issue.

Re: Rear bump stop
I've had my two front replaced under warranty, but it's not worth all the trouble of taking it to the dealer. I'd rather by the tool and the bumpers and do it myself.
