Re: best all around shock?
This is a very subjective topic due to riding conditions and what feel YOU are looking for in a shock.
I can tell you I liked the AFCO's over the others because of the way they handle the woops, I felt it left me with the least amount of "buck" and seemed to suck up anything I threw at it.
I'd definately buy them again.

Re: best all around shock?
I feel the most important factor in deciding which shock to use is how the shocks are valved. There are a lot of rides out there which could ride a lot better if the shocks were dialed in correctly. Do you have a long travel kit or any aftermarket arms for your RZR? Elka provides a great product. You can tell them exactly what your shock angles are and they can prevalve your shocks so all you have to do is dial them in to match your riding style and terrain. I can get you a good deal on Elka's if you are interested. Let me know.

Re: best all around shock?
Just got the new issue of "Cartwheelin", they tested 3 or 4 different shocks on the same area. Good reading

Re: best all around shock?
Yeah, the resi's RULE!!
I personally think if you want a properly working suspension (especially over repeated impacts) a resevoir is a must.
I've never felt a properly valved shock even come close to a properly valved resi shock.
Of course if your aren't too tough on suspension a good working non resi shock will do the trick.

It totally depends on what shock you are looking for and what suspension you currently have. Prices range from $1,200 up to $2,900 for the 46mm Elites. You tell me what you are looking for and I'll shoot you a quote.
