SoCal riding spots

I've been riding at Hungry Valley / Gorman a lot lately with Rower Flats closed. Are there any other good, nearby spots in SoCal that I should be checking out??? Are there any good get-together spots anyone can suggest??

Welcome to Jawbone

Not too far from SoCal, and offers miles of riding with some services and towns closeby.

Just down the street from Jawbone is Dove Spring you ll love it. Also Ocotillo wells, and Calico ghost town are cool to.

Re: SoCal riding spots

Yah, I want to check some of those spots out. Went to Cal City a couple weeks ago and I think Randsburg is on the list coming up. I just got a new KTM, so the poor RZR has been camped out in the garage for a while now. Need to get it back out and put some hours on it!!

Re: SoCal riding spots

Wasn't there somebody who posted where the motorcycle sits in the middle of the desert?
Anybody have a compiledlist with a quick review of ride spots?

Re: SoCal riding spots

I'm interested in places as well... if you guys could provide a little info with the suggestions, like an address or a website link, that would be awesome! A lot of web searches just turn up complete garbage, and it's hard to get good info...

A good resource for riding spots is the "Where to Ride" section on Thumpertalk.com

been riding (and living) in arrowhead 25 years. the rangers can be pricks. keep your utv off the single tracks, thats there biggest beef w/ utv. on the fire roads look out for head on traffic! night riding is the best around here. bring a map or gps. grate trails from lake silverwood to big bear and beyond. can get busy with lots of lame-o's on the weekend in the summer.
