Re: stone mtn ga

hi ketchthis we have a trip posted. 8 days in upper michigan 9-6-08 through 9-13-08. i have 6 people going no wives yet but if there tough enough its fine with us. we will be leaving a camp ground on satuday. we will ride almost from one end of u-p to other end. we will see alot of lake superior shore line witch will incloud pictured rock. water falls. we will go past marquette mi than up to huron mountains than to big bay over to mt arvon(highest elavation in michigan 1900 feet our so).than back down to lake michigan we will see some of the shore line. we will ride alot of the haywire trail. we will camp 1 or 2 nights. and stay in cheep clean motels. we will cover all types of riding. wide open snowmobile trails sand beach's hill climes rock trails and best of all some of the DEEPEST MUD that you ever saw.we try not to get to deep in the water we like MUD swamps with little waterwhen i learn how i will post some pictures.alot of the swamp trails will force us to use the winch. there's a MUD HOLE on the haywire that we ran out of daylight trying to cross. i have pictures. we dont drink and ride. if you want to we will follow you. a cold beer for lunch sometimes. we have a few at camp. ok i might have 4 to 6.the six guy's that will be going are as laid back as thay come. three are exfarmers thay have lots of land to ride on. one is in sales. the other has over 20yrs in recovery and towing he rolls semi's back up on there wheels. he is vary handy in the MUD. i drive truck for a living. i just got a call from a guy that works for ford assembly. this makes 7. we want alot of people on this trip hope for 25 to 50 people. we hope to cover 600 to 800 miles of riding. atv's with storage racks are ok. we wont se are pickup until trip is done. you need 7 days of gear with you. for camping we use a small cheep tent. and a swiming pool flot raft to keep you off the ground. that way you can just through it away. were only camping 1 to 2 days. its more like drinking a few beer's at a fire in the woods and gitting 6hrs of sleep for the next ride for the most part we ride from sun up until sun down. you owe it to yourself and your rzr to make this trip. there's no fee all you need is an orv sticker and take care of yourself. my wife was not happy at first but i might not get to do a ride like this ever again so she ok with it. $750 to $1000 should cover the hole trip. it would cost 2 times as much or more with a guided trip. hope you and anyone else can come.

its just west of chattanooga, the exits called lookout valley , its what i know as tifftonia, right off the interstate, you take hiway 11 south not even a mile under a railroad overpass then hang a right will be the first road off hwy11, go bout 1/4mile theres a big subdivision being built on the left, and thats where you park. im planning to go saturday

Re: stone mtn ga

yes its legal riding and you just park next to the subdivision, and acually drive up the subs drive, its not illegal cause its like an easment to that property, and for the size of it, i dont know how many acres but i havent covered hardley all of the place and ive been going about 3 months, its awesome, theres usually several rock crawlers and hill climbers, lots of 4wheelers,dirtbikes, and of course rhinos, and me and a couple of RZRs every now and again, now getting there, i had to think, when you get off the lookoutvalley exit you take a left off the offramp go to the redlight, hang a right that will be highway 11south, go about one mile under a railroad overpass, and there be a paved road to the right Cummins Rd. and go about a 1/4mile and turn left at the ponds youll probably see trucks rolling in as you drive in.
