Re: Windrock july 10 th

I just got back from there yesterday and if doesn't rain I would say not to go .it was the dustiest ride I've ever been on there in 5 years.they haven't had any rain for several weeks to speak of.the normally really muddy trails were dry powder dust.if you ride with another sxs you can't stay within sight of them .on the gravel you can't ride within a 1/4 mile of them.they have also built up and added more water breaks ,sometimes less than 50' apart .Ilike water breaks on my motorcycle but they really suck on sxs's.it's going to be quite some time before I'll be going back.but if you do go and want a really challenging ride go to trail 12.max speed is probably 10 m.p.h. it's a creek bed that's probably not a mile long and took us over an hour to get thru it.lots of big rocks ,big holes and bank climbs.you definitely need a good skid plate for it.and there's no dust on it at all.as a matter of fact not a whole lot of dirt either until you start the climb out. good luck and don't say I didn't warn ya.

Re: Windrock july 10 th

Hey Lee, may be able to make if my shocks come in. It ain't rained here in two weeks and the forecast shows no rain in site.... your talking about a 6inch pyle of dust on the trails....HEY! what happened to you guys last time? I turned around and you all were gone.........

Butch sorry I missed you all last weekend, but I'm glad you ran into Justine (durarzr)-they come no better than that on the trails....He called and told me hes got about 20 comming at the end of July and wanted us to show them around.

Lets go Riding

Re: Windrock july 10 th

What happened to your brakes Lee? We are planning on Brimstone the last weekend of July, so long as funds allow.
