Frak... got an email... opening delayed until 10 Dec 08...
county wants some more road work done at the entrance...

"Dear Friends –

As many of you already know, we were not able to open today due to the state having us put in turning lanes on Hwy 69 for the park entrance. The new opening date is scheduled for December 10th. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but we do look forward to seeing each and every one of you in December. In the meantime, please be looking for our new website that is under construction also… Stony Lonesome OHV Park - Cullman County, AL, as it will be keeping all of you updated on our progress over the next few months. Thank you for your patience and we will see you soon!"
