Windrock fall jamboree

Anybody up for a ride this week end on sat the 24 or sun the 25 or even better both days. I have invited a few to ride with me and my clan but no takes. A common misconception that people have when there is an event here at the rock is that it will be too crowded. I can ride all day long and not see a soul. If interested shoot me a pm.

We like to make sure everybody has a good time and we never take anybody out of their comfort zone. No one will ever get left behind or stuck in the woods.

Some of the more technical things we've done has been t15, little mule, and school bus trail. These trails are around the mud flats at the bottom of rattle rock. This past week end the school bus trail had a tree across it. But then again not everybody in our group did these but help to spot and stuff.

As far as speed on trails we put the fast ones in front so they can go as fast as they like and the slow ones in back so they can go as slow as they want. Any time the trails fork we ensure everybody knows where to go. And of course, there is always those stopping places for anybody to play in the deep mud holes or play with a hill climb etc. We can ride as hard or as easy as anybody likes but the goal is to come a way with no one hurt, nothing broken and a good memory of the ride.

Re: Windrock fall jamboree

Now that sounds like people I can ride with. You know, I have been on some of those trips to a place where I have never been before and they rode so fast that I was lost the whole time. It sucks. I have been down there twice, but I don't know the trails that well. As close as I live, you would have thought I should have been there more. Right now, the weather looks a little to rainy for me this weekend. Perfect riding there, because no dust! But, I have been fighting a cold for a while and the cold temp with rain won't be good for me. If I can't make it this weekend, I would love to come down and ride with you guys some. I would like to know the place better. Maybe plan a ride for me with the RZR and my friends with three Rhinos. Im the odd ball in our group. There will be some ladies with us, but they ride just as hard as we do. We can ride almost anything, except crazy stuff. I think you know what I mean. I try to have fun without breaking anything. I have been lucky so far.

Sunday is going to be the better day for riding. So far, there are five other rzrs committed for Sunday and always a couple of quads that will come. Trails 3 and 12 wont be a problem so we can add them to the list of whatever we decide. So do give me a call later and leave a message with call back # if you cant get a hold of me. Also you can PM me so we can work out the details.

Like always, anybody is welcome to come and if interested PM me.

Re: Windrock fall jamboree

Hey Quickster47, there is always next time. But if by chance your able to make this ride - or anybody else - we will be meeting at 9-9:30ish in the parking lots. Just look for a silver jeep wrangler 4-door, A black nissan titan, a white toyota tundra, A chevy duramax---all with rzrs. I think we will have a good group going. I'm still looking fo a co-pilot- the wife wont go on this ride.

I can ride that day that if you guys decide to come and would like some company. But anyway, start with T22,, then right on G5, G1, P1 to T24, branch off T24 to T16, run T16 to G1, G3, to T13. Up til now everything is pretty calm and easy. T13 runs into T12 (one of my favorites but a confusing trail). You have a choice of doing T12 or follow T13 out and take a left and run the ridge that parallels with T12 (this is not on the map). You might be better off to stay with T12 and not ge lost. T12 to T10, right on T11 to G1, T8, T23, G1, T9, T37, T34, G1, T2 parking lot. None of these trails are too extreme for a rzr. You cant go by the map on degree of difficulty. Get you a map and trace this out because I could of missed something. I do know these trails well.
