Re: Mid West Racing

This is the latest picture of the track. We want as many people as we can to show up April 18-19. We won't be racing that day, we want everyone to ride and give us input into what they would like done to the track for UTV's. This series is for you guys so we need and want your input. Even if you don't want to race you can still come and ride. Anyone is more than welcome to come early or stay all week in an RV, camping is welcome. So come join us even if you don't want to race.

Re: Mid West Racing

My +6 puts me in a class that I wont be competitive now so I dont think that I will make it. Maybe next year when I spend another $10K to go full mod, not this year.

Why would'nt you be competitive? More than likely you'll be the only one in the class. People look at my RZR with the +6 and turbo and don't even know what it is. What other mods do you have?

Re: Mid West Racing

no other mods, just a bolt on Rancho suspension, two brothers exhaust, full rollcage. No fuel controller, no clutching, no aftermarket sway bars..... I really dont think that a stock motor will cut it in that class. Why is it based on wheel base of the machine to what class you fall under?

you know you have a stock reliable motor and the other guys usually take themselves out by too many mods and hopped up motors that dont let them finish the race. go ahead and at least try it you will love racing. nothing like soaking up the big jumps with long travel.

I agree with Mega, I think you'll be far more competitive than you think. Come to the track orientation April 18-19 and ride and then see what you think. You don't want to give up before you start.

Re: Mid West Racing

Hope to see as many as possible April 18-19 for track orientation at Thunder Ridge MX Park.
Don't know if the weather will hold out but we'll be there for whoever shows up.

How was the turn out the past weekend Chris? Would have liked to been there, but the car is still apart building new cage and all the stuff you require for OPEN class!

No one came because of the weather. We are going to pick another date and hope it doesn't rain.
