Rumor has it Pro Armor is doing a joint venture with Victoria Secret to come up with a fix. The problem is the entire PA Staff wants to be "Hands On" with this project.

Re: Harness for women

my post was extremely serious.
I could have been long winded as usual but haters want to always come on.
What I meant was female racers like D.Patrick. What do they do for 3 hours?
Granted a RZR seat and a NASCAR seat aren't.....well you know but for all intent and purposes a seat is a seat and 5 or 6 points is similar for both genders.

I do like going off on tangents (I hear) so dig this:

Some RZR owners keep the harnesses loose, ie more comfort.
I keep mine a little loose but tighten up when I deem necessary.
At 20 I'm loose. 80 i'm snug.

One of the most famous "how tight" harness stories is the Earnhardt death. If you search enough you will find discussion about how he was notorious for how he "preferred" to wear his. You will also learn a little about the harness failure as well as the swift reaction by Simpson.

here is a friend and his spouse. Good people. Fred sent me one of the first pairs.

Coulda bought my wife a set of bolt-ons with what I'm about to pay for a Turbo kit...lol.....not sure which one would be funner. I pay need to rethink this purchase....in all seriousness we have the PA harnesses and she is only 5ft tall and her only complaint is she wishes the belts were 2" instead of 3".

Re: Harness for women

My wife had some trouble with the 3" 4 point harness because the waist belt would ride up and make the shoulder straps hard to adjust for good comfort/safety.

So I got some Simson 3" 5 point harnesses and the problem is solved. The 5th point holds the waist belt in place so she is able to adjust the shoulder harnesses more appropriately for her "build" Good luck with your search.

Re: Harness for women

Wife with more-than-a-handful likes the 3" belts just shy of slightly snug. No problems. I'd definitely lose the factory seat belt. Simpson D3s.

Re: Harness for women

My wife is 5'4" and more than a handful. She hated the first 5 pt harnesses I installed even though they had the added pads. I put in the 5 pt 3" Pro Armors and she thinks they are great. The sternum clip helps keep the harnesses positioned just right. I've commented many times on the importance of the 5th point. Without it in a hard frontal crash or flip your belts will ride up and you will go under the belts banging your knees on the dash and possibly causing internal damage when the belt are across your stomach instead of across your hip bone. It still baffles me why rzrs dont come stock with them.

Re: Harness for women

Narrower harnesses worked for my wife.
Now if I could only find them in leather...... Sorry I couldn't resist....

I am also a female I can stick with the stock belts I guess, they are ok except they cut my neck & end up under my arm on the right side when I drive, even when they are adjusted down to the last hole, as I am only 5'4" so thats part of the problem. Appreciate all the help
I was hopping you had one. I have Dragon Fire 4 point 3 inch harness with sternum strap and they are comfortable for a girl with big assets. Whatever you do get something besides the stock belt. The stock belts are not really that safe.

Also RZDAVEMI buying bolt on's is not so much for her as it is for you. The best money you will ever spend is on a set. It is like Christmas every time you see them, and they never get old.
