DFR seat harness boobs review....

alright,

as we all know, there has been a recent (and popular) topic regarding 4 points and female drivers/passengers in the rzr. i recently picked up a set of the DFR 4 point belts to put them to the test.

first, everything arrived quickly, and well packaged. nice job DFR.

next, the seat belt look awesome! the padding are thicker than i expected, and seem the material seems to be less stiff than previous 4 pts i have owned, making them easier to get on and off.

the installation on these was cake. literally took a few minutes a side, nothing needed to be trimmed, or modified, they simply bolted in. you do need to source your own bolt (1) since the oem seat belt bolt is not detachable from the stock unit.

after everything was bolted in i went on my first test trip through mt pinos in SOCAL. its a brutal 4 wheel jeep area that really tests the limits of the rzr. at first, the belts were slightly uncomfortable and it was more difficult to steer it seemed. that was quickly fixed by adjusting the seat slightly closer to the wheel, since you can no longer lean forward to the wheel (which i didnt know i did to start with...). i can honestly say that i think the belts make you a better driver. you no longer fight to stay in place in the rzr while also steering and modulating the gas and brake. you are firmly planted, and can concentrate much better on driving.

overall I am very pleased with the belts, and wish i would have installed them sooner. i dont see any downfall of them, expect that they dont come with the rzr stock.

now, for the ladies. My gf was eager to try them out since every time we go out in the rzr she ends up with a bruise on her shoulder, and often times even a slight abrasion from the belt sliding around.

no adjustments were needed for her to use the belts even after i got out (im 6' 230 lbs).

the belts worked great for her as well. no bruising, and she actually commented the ride seemed much smoother since she wasnt being shaken around in the seat. as far as the boobs go, no issues. she opted to leave the shoulders a little loose, and use the sternum strap to keep the belts on. worked like a charm.

no complaints from my side, and the girlfriend is even more excited to ride in the rzr now. good job dragonfire. now....if only i could afford to test out that turbo of yours.......

edit- having issues with photobucket.....will try to upload the pictures again after i get home from work tomorrow.

Re: DFR seat harness boobs review....

Hmmm...this harness needs the sternum link or it might slip.

And that would be bad, right?
