DFR 4 Point Harnesses
I just installed DFR 4 point harnesses. They are 3" belts with padded shoulder straps.
These things are heavy duty for sure. The padded straps are pretty sweet with thick padding.
The installation is super easy. Just remove the bolt holding the seat belt latch and replace with the harness. You can use the same hardware.
On the sides with the original seat belt retractor, you need to get new hardware since the bolt holding it on is affixed to the retractor. I used a 1" 7/16th grade 8 bolt and it worked perfect. You just need to pop a few of the plastic rivets from the fenders to access the bolt.
When you put this bolt through the "frame" you may wish to add a couple washers on the inside before putting the harness on. This keeps the actual harness belt from rubbing on anything. Not sure if this is necessary, but I thought it wouldn't hurt.
The top straps wrap around the roll cage bar.
My $.02's...the 3" strapping is nice. Once you strap in with the padded shoulder straps...you don't move. The wider straps are really comfortable and easy to adjust. Takes a bit longer then just clipping in with the original seat belts, but there's no way your gonna get ejected with these on.
The other big bonus is the sternum strap/clip. I think the ultimate setup would be custom seats with the holes in them to route the harness through, but for stock...the sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps right where they need to be. There' no way they slide off.
My wife is short at 5'. I don't think these would have worked....or any other harness setup without the sternum strap.
I hope to get out this weekend for a test run. Will report back.

Was your answer to the "My wife is only 5'..." to put her in a booster seat???
The straps do look great though. How much did they set up back?

Retail on These is $135 each they are 3" padded with a sternum Clip. Members get a 10% discount right off the Bat. so you are basically down to 120 each with a forum discount.

Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses
What is the difference between these and say Crow 4 points. I am just asking because the others are cheaper. And yes I know when it comes to the best in safety, I am willing to pay.

Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses
They are very comfortable.
Having not used a harness before...at first it's a little weird feeling...since your so strapped down..but now I don't like riding without it on.
