Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses

I think Jordan told me the extra that is sticking out on the harnesses can be cut, then burned? I would like to cut some of it off but keep some for adjustment down the road ( or when I start to get a bigger gut)!

Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses

alot of people just roll up the end and zip tie it so they do have that adjustability down the road. The regular lock washer works just fine. if you want that extra security put some locktite on there.

Very easy to install, a really good product. Just make sure you have mirrors! You'll be locked in tight, wife had no problem with the belts, she felt they were comfortable.

Yup...didn't think about that one. Need to figure out a good/cheap mirror to add.
Go look at XXXoffroad.com mirrors.

Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses

Decided to install a set since Dragonfire is back in stock. Not too tough with all of the great instructions and pics in this thread, made a big difference.

After a couple of stops, found the 7/16" X 1 1/2"Grade 8 bolts, washers and nylock nuts at my local Ace Hardware. Ace is the place but they did charge a premium for the hardware.

And yes, they hold in you in tight!

Thanks to all the posters on this thread

Re: DFR 4 Point Harnesses

I thought I would just add to what everone said. I put a set of these in my new 09, they were easy to install and super comfortable. Great product! The chest buckle is a really nice feature! I actually did the same thing as the poster above me regarding the hardware. I kinda wish it was included, but no complaints.
