Harnesses 4/5 point and BOOBS?

Ok..serious now...I need to get some harnesses for the RZR. Either 4 or 5 point.

For those with wives and/or girlfriends...who may happen to have boobs....do they like or dislike the sternum strap? My wife is small but...uh...endowed (no your not getting pics)....so which fit best?

Can't help you with the boob problem (is it really a problem?), but 5 point is the only way to go. When you tighten 4 point shoulder harnesses, it makes the lap belt pull up your stomach. The five point anchors the lap belt and prevents that problem.

hell the more straps the better, that way you can "help" her adjust them and cop a feel. gotta get it when you can, you only live once.

I agree with cooter. I have the 4 point, and the lap belt gets pulled up high on your stomach by the shoulder straps. Wish I would have bought the 5 point.

Re: Harnesses 4/5 point and BOOBS?

My wife is chesty (D cup) and the 2" 4-point with no sternum straps fit her good. They pretty much ride right over her boobs but they don't spread apart or dive into the cleavage

The right way to put them on is to buckle in and tighten the lap belt pretty snug, then just take out the slack in the shoulder straps. Don't try to tighten the shoulder straps further or it will tug the lap belt up into your belly. The 5-point harnesses don't have this issue but I absolutely hate a multi-link latch. Too fussy and take too long to buckle up. When I had them before I was always the last guy in a group ride ready to leave because of f-ing with the latch.

If you use a Y harness you can install this billet slot in the OEM seats that makes your shoulder straps keep in place. Although I installed them backward. You can see them in the attached picture. I got it from UTV crap.

If you wear the 4 point like that, you've adjusted it, and you're wearing it wrong.

You tighten the lap belt till its tight, then the shoulder belts till they're snug, you don't need to pull the belts in as tight as you can get them.

Being a seasoned seat belt proffesional I can not possibly properly recomend the proper restraint for you wife without photos.

This slot also works without the "Y" harness.
