Stock Seat Ripped
I had my stock seat get ripped by a stray stick 5 min. after coming home from the dealer. Any ideas on patching it? I tried pulling it together and using gorilla glue since its waterproof, but couldnt get it pulled together even with someone sitting on the seat. Any ideas on patch kits????

Re: Stock Seat Ripped
That was the cure i used also.Kinda scary...Stick came thru on pass.side while traveling 15mph or so,side bars of cage close to shoulder area of seat deflected branch into shoulder area of seat very deep and ripped seat straight up to neck area of seat 1/4 inch wide and 4-5 inches long.I had to quickly stop and back-up to get off of it.Have notion it could not have been good if someone had been sitting there strapped in.But gorilla glue duct tape is mighty mighty. Then just get ya some seat covers

Re: Stock Seat Ripped
Thanks guys. I even tried sewing it back together and then the gorilla glue but the seats werent durable enough to hold the thread when i tried pulling the seat pieces together, it would just pull through out of the seat and make more of a hole!!! I went to the local shop and he told me just the bottom piece of the seat was $150!!! A little surprising. I think im just gonna buy some neoprene seat covers for now. Thanks for the help again.
