Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
Which ones did you buy? I am thinking about the Crow 2 inch 4 point Y harness but I am not sure if they will work either.
Thanks

Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
I"m not sure why you are saying that Crow does not work. I just installed a set of 3" 4-point Crows this weekend and they work fine. Love them. Bought them from UTV Crap. Did you run them over the lower roll bar as you should have?

Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
Crow sand car harness pn 11554 is the 2" 4-point Y-harness with aircraft-type latch.
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z5
The 5-point 3" that fits Rzr is supposed to be pn 11004
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z5
The shoulder harness in these can either bolt down or you remove the lug and wrap the webbing around the roll bar.
HotRide4U has them on eBay all the time. Just search "Crow Rzr"
If you want something special (different latch, different ends, etc) call

Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
I bought two sets of 5-point harnesses from my friend that has a shop.
These are 3 inch padded shoulder belts in red.
The number on the box is 20132-P should I return these and get the
pn 11004 units? Are they padded shoulders?
I did also get the wrist restraints.

No issues whatsoever. I installed the Y type and did have to buy 2 longer bolts and 8 washers (4 for each side) for where the Y attaches so that the bracket will clear the plastic in the back. There is a thread here that explains it very well. I used the existing top bolt of the 3 point to secure the outside of the 4-point and the existing bolt of the inside 3-point to secure the inside of the 4-point. The most time consuming part is making the first adjustment of the Y belt in the back to get it to the right height for the should straps. Spent about an hour total.

Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
I installed the 2" 4-point harnesses and posted about it here:
http://www.rzrforums.net/projects-ho...esses-rzr.html
I slightly preferred the look of the Y shoulder straps over the separate ones but both function & cost the same. The Crow 2" harness looks like it would mount up exactly like the ones I used but you may need to call them to get the bolt lug for the tail. The RJS belts include both for either a wrap-around or bolt-down tail attachment.
I don't have any experience mounting the 3" belts in the Rzr so I don't know if these are as easy to mount as the 2" or if there are some different issues to deal with.

I used your directions to mount the 3" belts and it went fine for me. Thanks for the tip about the "special" pliers for the plastic fasteners. I never knew that was in the toolkit.

The toolkit that should have been under the hood when you bought it. There are a pair of pliers in it that have a notch in the end so you can pull the black plastic fasterners out very easily.

Re: CROW 5 Point harnesses
UTV Crap <----click there
this is what you need with Y harnesses to do it right ....this is really the way they should all be done because the stock seats are so wide it the top the harness could slip off your shoulders
