Had it on dyno today, cx tuner, trinity exhaust, high flow intake and boost tube, water meth injection, 32 inch tires. I have been running this tuning for 2200 miles now with no issues. Also just clicked 2000 miles on my belt lol. The printer was down but here is a photo. The 158hp was my best pull. The 151 hp was me playing around with timing as I was curious what it wanted. The 158 is where I run it always. We could not get the wideband to read but that was 11.6 flat across the curve.
I cant help to wonder how much power those 32 inch are hurting the power. Most places dyno these with small light wheels and tires. I also held the throttle down longer to see if the power held on and it did.
Hey turbo I'm just curious do you have to take out the drive shaft to do a pull on the dyno for fear of the front diff kicking in. I've got the stage 3 evo flash on my 16 turbo and would like to see what I'm putting down but don't want to grenade my front diff in the process. Thanks
I jack up the front end, pull front tires and run AWD on the dyno now. I've had 1 XP 1000 front diff chirp the front tires on the dyno not causing any damage. Also had a brand new XP 900 front diff grab at about 50 MPH. Took all the teeth of the pinion gear. That was not a pleasant experience at all.

Man I sure would have guessed a lot bigger loss than 6-8 HP going from a 29-32.
A good friend of mine just had his car tuned on they dyno at DW Performance and DWs dyno tires wouldn't work because of oversizes brakes so he had to run it with 32" Mongrels. Dave told him he was figuring it was 20 HP off the peak numbers.
the kit I have is from Devil's Own, I bought it to install on a car I used to have and never did but I hung onto it knowing I was going to get the XPT and wanted to try it on there
I'm thinking of putting one on my RZR and car. Where I live there is a lot of heat soak on the inter cooler, temps get over 100. 2016 Z06's run a little warmer than they should.
100% methanol will make more power especially when tuned properly for it using the methanol as intended. But will shorten pump life.
I'm not a big fan of methanol injection systems. I've seen too many pumps fail over the 20 or so years i've been dyno tuning. Although they are getting better and better methanol is still hard on things.... BUT as long as they are properly monitored and some fail safes are put into place they can be really nice for some there is no doubt about the benefits of methanol! Me personally i usually just recommend E85. Probably what i will end up doing to my XPT when i get a chance.
no biggie if you build a safe guard into your tune. On mine i have it set to kill 10 degrees of timing when intake temps rise to much such as pump failure on meth system. Same way i set up my fox body mustang that has 1200 hp. Inlet temps over 180 i kill tons of timing.
Good talking to you yesterday, and great numbers on your tune! That meth injection is working really well... might be time to make a kit specifically for the RZR. I wish you would have done a factory tune run to compare with those 32's. I'm sure you are mid to high 160's on a regular dyno tire setup.
Thanks mike! Good talking to you as well. Yeah i plan on going back on dyno and running a baseline pull amd some more pulls after i add more primary weight in the clutch.
I have a pressure transducer plumbed in between the pump and nozzles....if the pre-determined pressure is not met (pump failure, hose failure, out of meth) then the ecu kills boost, and timing.
Very nice numbers! I also had my car Dyno Tuned here locally with Vision, stock the car made 122whp and after the tune it made 160.69whp... Also for reference the car made 147whp on a "Stage 2" Flash from another company that I had put on the car before the Dyno tune was done.
I also just purchased my Snow Stage 1 Kit, should be installing that soon to see what it does.
Not to take anything away from that stock number but it's hard to get an accurate number when you're clutched for the extra power, a tune that is making that much more power requires a lot more weight to keep things in check so when you remove that much power the clutching will be so far off that it could make you loose power compared to a bone stock car.
