Re: I added progressive springs - WOW!

I put them on my 4 and the ride for me was drastically smoother for my style of riding but I don't horse beat mine too much so I cannot comment on jumping but the rock crawling and arroyo whoops were much more easily handled and the RZR seems to ride quieter suspension wise, I think due to the dampening of the spring. I adjusted my shocks from 7 clicks to 12 clicks and the ride is wonderful even with four adults in it.

I can't wait to see how they stand up on my S with Fox Podiums! Just waiting on mail...
Not sure what to do with my Sachs now - maybe trotline weights!

The RZR4 did not suffer the same problems the XP off the showroom floor. We do have a spring replacement kit that is becoming more popular now due to sagging springs.
Could you PM me a quote for springs 2011 rzr4 ?

Thanks for your time.

Same deal Mike... Much smoother ride and better control. No comparison to factory. Steve or Tim will set you up with the right spring weights.

Re: I added progressive springs - WOW!

I got my Fox Podiums with the MT Progressives mounted from FunRide last week and immediately installed them. Of course, my riding is trails and mud but I can tell you these things are AWESOME! I also put disconnects on my sway bar a few weeks ago which gave me some travel but with the Fox/MT combo, it went from a good ride to B-U-T-T-E-R!!!!!!!!!

And today... no back pain after a hard riding weekend. hhmmmmmm Think we got a winner!!!!

Re: I added progressive springs - WOW!

just got my progressive springs in today, installed them and went on a little ride... so far they are awesome! just for a little info i have a winch, windshield, pro armor doors, heater, top and back window, and ssv stereo for added weight. i installed the springs with 0 preload, rolled it around the shop and my ground clearance was about an inch higher front and back than my other xp that has the same added weight on stock springs... i went for a ride with a passenger and hit the bumps as fast as i could, 55-60mph through the snow and it was a night and day difference... no more bucking through the bumps.. as far as the smaller bumps it was much softer feeling, i loosened my clickers to 14 clicks counter clockwise. i did not take any jumps or try to catch air to know if it still lawn darts, but that is not my riding style. with the stock springs it rode pretty good for trail riding until i hit a hole that was too big, the back would bottom then bounce straight up over the front "buck", with these springs i hit every hole i could find, as fast as i could go and it did not bottom or bounce, the only time the back tires left the ground the front ones were up too, and level.... i will be ordering a second set of these for my other xp!
oh, and i was worried about them being too stiff for articulation... that is not the case, first thing i tried was put the front tire on a floor jack, and fully extended the floor jack- all other tires stayed on the ground... pretty good sway bar is removed and has been since day one though...
