WIth 1100 cc do i need a helmet?:)

I just got my car back from Racers edge out of tuscon az. Mark queen and Racersedge built me one bad motor. bigbore stroker, ti valve head, well rev to the moon. its got all the bells and whistles. Cant wait to get out to glamis. It frys the tires the first 60 feet with easy. even with those slick dyno tires that you see in the pic.

Where testing intakes right now i will have dyno numbers here shorlty.

So do I need a helemet sense im over 1000cc?

Awesome. According to the great state of California you are no longer an Rohv. Go spin some donuts around the rangers without a helmet. Enjoy

With that much power you will probably need a helmet!
I wonder if one of the vendors on here can get custom graphics kits that say 1000 cc. Im wondering if this will work for the helmet law...

Ya, I'd say you had better have the CC's to back the sticker~ It won't be long before a Ranger can tell if you have a swap or are faking it (I'm sure most are smart enough).

It does make me wonder if you end up with a new Ranger & he/she doesn't believe you have 1k + in CCs, hmmm getting a ticket in another county/state from where you came might be cheaper to pay than fight?

Then I only go to CA. for Disney, Universal, San D's Zoo & Sea World (straight flight). When I move down if the Laws in effect I'll just fork out the swap & be happy... I wear helmets 95% of the time so it's not a huge deal, I just don't like being governed...

Don't be blinded by Brand Loyalty, leave that to love!

and his vin says he is less than 1000 cc.....

so if you bore, stroke, mill, chunk and grind to 2000cc the vin still says less than 1000cc helmet required...That state is no dummie they know what out there and the size of the engines.....i highly doubt they are going to do a pull over and cc the motor it is not a" look at"
to get the correct cc of a engine.
