Rzr Icon Brake pressure switch?

I have been having some trouble trying to start my 2012 900XP, within the last few times I've had it out it seems like it's getting harder to start, you pretty much have to stand on the brake peddle to get it to start it has never done this before. i have checked the brake reservoir and it is full, I've been reading some forums about the brake pressure switch but a lot of them say "when they go they go"... but i can still get mine to start but like i said you have to pretty much stand on the brake peddle to get it to turn over. anyone have any suggestions thanks guys.

First off WELCOME to the forum...

Bleed the brakes as you could have air in the lines... Start bleeding the brakes at the right rear (furthest point from master cylinder), then the left rear, then the right front and finally the left front...

No not common but it does happen... Make sure the bleeders on each caliper are snug not over tightened just snug...

The fluid could be from air purging from the master cylinder or it was over filled...

If it's under warranty take it back to the dealer...

If you wrench on it they can say you broke it... The master cylinder isn't a cheap part if it's bad...

Re: Brake pressure switch?

Have the same problem here. The dealer will change the switch/ sensor under guaranty. Less than 25 hours on this baby....

Re: Brake pressure switch?

Having same issue with my dads jagged. We are in the dilemma of cost of part vs cost of fuel to get to dealership or should I say a dealership and mechanic I trust to work on are stuff.
