Winter here in Alaska soon, still wondering if someone is going to come up with a plow mount for the XP. At first I thought maybe some posters that said it would be "like putting a plow on a Corvette" were right, but after putting some miles on mine, I am convinced it would be fine. Plenty of low end for pushing snow.
Hey Gang,
Some very good news it seems. Tested out the new mount and gave an additional 5" of up and down flex -- so it should resolve the issue. We will do some final testing and begin the production run/change next week. We are on target!
Have a good weekend.

Sounds like they are released to production and Scott has a guy testing one. I will find out again today. I do know that there are still some differential bolts, but mostly as place holders now from what I understand as further mounting locations were added.
I'll find out more! Thanks for reminding me.....lots of balls juggling just now.
I was just looking on Ebay and see that Motoalliance is selling their 72 inch plow setup for the XP with the same mount and pushtubes that every one is having problems with, Ebay#390386905525. I wonder whats going on?
thanks but already have one, Moto Alliance's is extremely heavy duty and built well, just not happy how bracket bolts to XP, also slight difference in height when turned all the way to the left on mine. They tell us they are working on a fix, great product, great price, and shipped in 2 days, just get the bugs worked out and I will be happy!!
Checked with production yesterday. I believe they are out for paint today/tomorrow and will ship next week. Thanks for the reminder....by all means, keep sending the notifications for updates. As long as I am logged into the forum, I get alerts send to my email.
At this point, just the ones requesting as, with the rev change, we don't have a perfect record of who got what. However, there were very few in the field before you wrote in on the forums -- less than a dozen I believe, so we should be able to figure it out pretty quickly -- even if someone doesn't write in.
I would suggest anyone who is having problems with the MotoAlliance plow mount setup for their XP email them and get on their recall list so they will not be missed.
Scott, our engineer, and I are staying late tomorrow night. He is going to personally supervise the shipping of the new mounts to make sure you get the proper parts and instructions. You will all have your mounts next week. Thanks for working with us on this as the XP900 does require a bit extra love.
I was at Indy this past weekend at the Expo and I saw a lot of XP900's. Outstanding machines. Our plow was featured on a RZR in the Lucas Oil booth. Pretty cool.
Peter, Thanks man, I live a little south of indy and wish now I would have made the trip. Thanks to you and your company for taking care of this problem and I hope we have it resolved soon. Thanks again, great customer service
Mounts have all been shipped and you should have them between today and Friday. If you don't receive one by Friday, make sure to call in right away to get one sent. Thanks!
Peter,
Thanks man, I recieved a tracking number and it is due at my house tomorrow. Again thanks to you and Moto Alliance for taking care of a problem. That is great customer service, and I can only speak for myself, but I dont feel I could have asked for anything more. Again way to go Moto Alliance!!!!!!!!!!!
