900 XP Snorkel Kit???

Does anyone know who makes the kits and what is the best bang for the buck? Im seeing some pretty outlandish prices for $12 worth of pvc.

Re: 900 XP Snorkel Kit???

Triangle ATV makes a nice kit. But it's not cheap. Best bang for your buck? Well that would begin with a little initiative and a trip to Home Depot.

Re: 900 XP Snorkel Kit???

Someone melted the spa type hose on the triangle kit. Mine has been fine but I did alter the intake. And I suppose if it gets hot enough mine could melt also. Haven't heard anything bad about the other one at performance.

2015 ranger 4 sale.

Built mine with dual intake pipes and about 4 hours plus paint drying time. Cost me $115 for everything and I'm very happy with it.

Re: 900 XP Snorkel Kit???

Is the store bought kits a dual pipe inlet for the intake? I was looking at the throttle plates on mine and seems like even a 2 inch pipe is a reduction. I really dont want to get in some thick mud with a choked down engine. I dont mind spending the money just dont want to waste it

Interesting to hear. Mine's been great as well. I guess that'll be one more thing to keep an eye on with this machine.

Re: 900 XP Snorkel Kit???

Crazyaboutlsu, does your Triangle kit have a single pipe for the intake or dual?

Last I heard they are working on the instructions for the kit.
