So far we've had no issues with any of our 2017 Turbos for over heating.

Do you have any photos of the RZR? has anything been modified at all?

Re: 2017 RZR Xp 1000 turbo overheating issues

Had no mods . Till last week . Added a exhaust and clutching last week for the dunes . Waiting on all my TMW Offroad stuff . Took it in to the dealer and had my coolant bleed for air . Found some air . Went out again and had the same problem. It would run great then go into limp mode and shut down . This occurs at 246 degrees. So then with no coolant circulating it would reach 260 degrees . Would let cool till it would start and park it with the front up hill. Then I would pull cap off and tried to burp it . Once the thermostat open it would go to 180 degrees.
2nd time I took it the dealer they put a new thermostat . Went back out the dunes and only made it 2 miles . It overheated again . Went and parked it up hill and did the burping gig again . Ran good for about 2 hrs and did it again . It's done this at least a couple dozon times now . On my last 5 times out . Getting really stressed about this . Starting to get worried about other issues due to all the overheating .

Kinda sounds like you have a leaking head gasket, I don't know any other reason why you would keep having to bleed the coolant line. Trapped air would keep the coolant from circulating.

I'm hoping Polaris pull through . I'm willing to pay some . Cause I have used it some . Hope my dealer bats for me . I have spent bit of money there since 2010 . 2010 rzr 800 ,2015 900 trail , several RMK pro snow machine . And have been really happy with Polaris. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Re: 2017 RZR Xp 1000 turbo overheating issues

Sounds like it may def have some internal issues if you keep having to bleed it.

Are you running any hills or it just over heats under normal flat ground usage?

Both ! But mostly when I'm running the bowls ! Cause that's what I love to do ! Ive ran chock cherry a couple times . Every time I've been out there! Which is a real good pull ! But has not over heated doing that yet . It's a pretty steep and tall and one of the longest pulls .

Okay, just wanted to make sure it wasn't happening while running a large hill. Some people run tough hills back to back and it can't cool down. Let us know what they come up with for you.

Love it !! When it isn't overheating . They told me that it might be electric water pump ? They said that it has two water pumps ? Never heard of anything like that ? Dealer not to willing to do a trade unless Polaris help them out . Even offered him some money for a new one . Waiting to see what they say. But I still love it though . It rides incredible! Great power!! First time I've had any problems with any of the rzr line up !
