Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

Hey just curious I checked out a 2017 rzr xp 4 turbo and they quoted me 20500. Is there hidden fees this place does? They said I have to be present also to buy it. Why can't I fax them all my stuff if im paying cash? Is Polaris hurting that bad to do huge rebates?

Re: Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

I paid that for my 2017 xp4, which is $5000 less msrp. Where does this place find 5000 dollars to slash off these units? My dealer cried how he was making next to nothing for giving me free freight & set-up, the rebate, and $1000 off. Is holdback really SEVERAL THOUSAND?

I was shocked to hear what the race teams buy for direct from Polaris so wouldn't be too shocked at the stupid prices most dealers are asking and getting...

Re: Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

It amazes me how much different the pricing is from East to West Coast. It's a great deal but I have add sales tax, registration, freight and travel expenses. After considering the added expenses the difference for me is only about $1,500 - $2,000. If I didn't have to travel to Tennessee to purchase I'd do it.

Plus we have to pay a tax on it here in AZ when we register it...

Re: Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

My problem was I could never get the initial salesman to call me back. I called multiple times and even sent several messages and it seemed like they have such a high volume of customers that if the salesman needed to do anything custom for your deal it's just easier for them to move on to the next customer waiting in the queue.

In the end after I figured in travel and lodging to make the 12 hour trip my dealer was only off by around $1500, so for me it was more important to have the local dealer backing me should something go wrong down the road.

Re: Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

Polaris of Benton is the same price as Abernathy and they treat you more like a customer and not the revolving door. It's also an hour and a half closer to most people. The head mechanic at a Polaris dealer near me drove down to buy from them because the dealer he works for wouldn't match their price.

So I went back and looked at my numbers and the only quote I could get from them at the time was the general email quote which was 23994, so all my calculations were off of that.

My guess that new otd price you recieved is including the current $2000 rebate that any dealership will now include since it is from Polaris.

Had they actually called me back I might be gearing up for a long road trip, but the lack of responsiveness really didn't sit well with me especially when you consider how much you're spending.

Re: Abernathy's pricing on 2017 rzr

I actually was just looking at abernathys and got a quick quote . I was really surprised at the price. Makes me wonder if they are going to come out with something awesome in 2018 and they need to get rid of them ?

I've spent most of my money on women, guns, and Harleys. The rest I just wasted.
