Rzr Icon 32" Tensors & Method 401 Beadlocks on 17 Turbo

Hey guys, I just installed 32" Tensor Regulators on Method 401 Beadlocks on my 17 XP4 Turbo. I love the look and will be testing the set up in Ocotillo after Christmas. I have the Assault Industries Spare Tire Carrier and they hooked me up with heavy duty struts on the carrier to raise the tire.

Hopefully with the new 17, the belt won't be too much of an issue but will keep you all posted.

I have over 800 miles on my 16. Stage 3 hard dune riding on same belt. Were others having issues with their belts?

Out in Glamis this weekend. A friend of mine broke his 2016 XP Turbo belt. I believe he had under 400 miles on his.

I know it has a lot to do with how you drive them. People getting stuck in the dunes and burning the belts as they try to get unstuck.

New struts huh? I must give them a call. I like my carrier but holding it up with one hand and trying to access the cooler with the other is a major pain in ass. Any pictures?

I love my 32" setup. Looks tough!

I'm actually getting this exact same set up with my 16 2 seater done tomorrow and I'm going to need a tire carrier, how much did you get yours and can you post more pictures

The struts look identical in size and length but internally they are pressurized more. You won't have to hold up your carrier with one hand anymore.

The carrier lists at $374.99 but you can find it cheaper. If you order direct through Assault Industries I believe they are having a holiday special price on their products. If you give them a call, talk to Nate. Great guy for sure. Mention my name and the forum also.

I will post pics of the carrier tomorrow.

How tall do the 32s measure off the car at 12 psi or so?

Not sure off the car. But on the RZR with 15psi the tires measure about 31.5

What is the offset on your wheels? I ordered the exact same RZR, looking at the same setup.

Thanks, Ryan

That front hood scoop looks bigger than the 16s. Can someone confirm?

I believe the offset is 4+3. But I will double check. I did go with 15's rather than 14 inch wheels. One of the benefits of going 15's is less tire roll when you go with 32's.

Me I prefer more sidewall to keep those wheels protected from those rocks hiding in the desert sand.. 1/2" sidewall is not much difference but it is more. Mine are 4+3 and are 14". I like the 15" but they weigh more too. The 15" keep rock from getting stuck between the wheel and calipers. I wanted the 15" but for some reason the guy who bought them got the 14" and I didn't want him to send them back. I am happy I kept them. If the tires are low you notice the deflection but aired up to what they suggest they feel good.
