I have a couple of grand daughters who are getting old enough to ride with me, so I'm thinking about a 4 seater. :)

I looked at the specs for both the RZR4 and the XP 4. The RZR4 is 76 inches tall and the XP 4 is 77 inches tall. My problem is that my toy hauler is only 76 inches tall inside.

If I put a Racertech 2 inch lift on the RZR4 it is too tall to fit. And the XP4 is already too tall.

So I thought maybe I could get the cage lowered a couple of inches on either one and they would fit.

Anyone know of some one who can do the work in Missouri?

If you cut up to 4 inches from the cage you should have no problems. You could probably cut more if you go to 4/5 point belts.

Ya the cage is junk on xp4 my wife came out to the shop seeing sparks flying and I got in trouble but I told her the problem and she was like you always got to give everything your little touch don't you I just laughed I'm trying to Debate how much I should take out of it without bumping anyone's heads on the ssv box I know I'm a little guy 5'6" and it a long way up there Polaris should have saved there tube I guess I bought it still so can't say much ha ha

In talking with TMW, I am pretty sure he said they cut 8" off the cage and a 6'5" person can still sit in front and 5'10" in back when they are done. Seems like all the custom cages are shorter.

Great machine but the cage is to tall in the rear and to short in front. It fits in the 12' garage of my 5th wheel, but I have to remove the bottom bed to do so. It is a simple 4 pins and we stand it on its side between the RZR and back door. This will have to do untill I can afford a new cage. First comes the UTV Inc doors I put on order then safety harness for all 4 seats.
