Looking into picking up my first RZR and was looking for any input as to what I should look for and approximately what you guys think it's worth. Any recalls I should know about, specific weak points etc... it's a 2014 RZR 1000 XP with just over 500miles. New battery, belt yada yada. Any help would be great thanks!
He has it listed for $13,800. I'd be trading my '16 Polaris Assault 800 snowmobile plus some cash for it so I want to make sure I know how much I should be throwing in.
get clutch housing update for sure. heat problem was cured on 15' model . a plus is no exhaust sensor. faster than newer models. is there any extras ? if not too much considering newer w/rebates. good luck
You should be ok with a 14. Nothing really major and that's pretty low miles. I would check the cvs to make sure they are ok. That's only if someone was using it in the mud.
All good to know. I'll check with owner to see if he's done any updates. As far as upgrades go nothing crazy just set of full doors, canvas top, and a half windshield.
I gave 14,800 for a '14 with 50 miles on it a month ago. Had front and back bumpers, pro armor 4 pt harness's, polaris roof, A arm guards and pro armor lower doors. Machine was brand new condition. I did blow a front axle out of it in about 10 minutes of driving it and now i have rhino's in it. But I LOVE IT!
Bought a 14 last July for $13K. Had doors, harnesses, roof, windshield 400 miles.
Found it had 5 recalls that were done by the seller before I took delivery.
Huge improvement over my 800.
What is your sled worth? I would try to keep it at about 13 even across the board.
It would help folks to know what part of the country you are in. In Colorado some buy theirs local and think they are worth big dollars because they paid way to much.
