I suppose one way to get it out now would be a slight push or pull up the hill to take the tension off.

Kave, this is one of the things you don't do . I think the manual also says this . Several venders sell a parking brake so this doesn't happen also some threads to make your own.

Re: why stuck in park on hill

Order a long handle screw driver set from Harbor Freight.( $4.99)
Drill a small hole in your brake pedal.
Apply the brake.
Take the pointed end of the Phillips screw driver and stick it in the hole you drilled.
The handle end wedges against the front mount of the seat base.
Holds perfectly.(on a RZR 800)

Re: why stuck in park on hill

Whichever brake you choose, just apply that brake first, then put it in park.

You have to rock your ride to get it out of park when you park on a hill..

A UTVINC parking brake will fix your problem...

All kinds of good cheapo mods on that thread.
I used several myself.
Glad to help.
You could also fill it with lead and seal it. Beat your co-dawg with it when they scream in your ear.
