Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

Nah. mine was pretty much just a slow tip over too. Should I go this way or that way? Shoulda went that way LOL. Just climbed out and pulled out the winch line and tied it up in a tree and stood it back up. Broke off my go pro mount. Crushed my front flare and bent my door frame a little. Other than a few new scratches that was it. Glad there was a tree within reach as there wernt many people around and I was riding alone. Didnt really look that bad till I got in it and kept getting worse. LOL

Yeah, when I did mine I had to replace both left side flares and the whole left side Pro Armor door, then I had to have it painted and striped. Replaced the harnesses too, seeing as how I got trapped in the car when the crotch belt wouldn't release. Dumped the Crows and put in PAs.

Dune Shooting is indeed a blood sport, at least in my case!

You can say 'STOP' or 'ALTO' or use any other word you think will work, but I've found that a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much the universal language.

Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

i had mine up against the side in a rut before and only pulled the rear lower part of the flare loose. This was my first ride with my new front xp flares . mashed the front left pretty good and bent the fender mount a little. I already straightend the door . It wasnt bent too bad . i was more worried about my gopro when I looked around and saw it was gone. Thought I crushed it. Found it back about 5 ft behind me where it first came into contact with the ground. Broke the mount off and scratched the rear of the case. Everything else was still ok.

So today I got home and gave it a bath. Just tucked it in for a good nights rest. Well deserved too . Put about 200 miles of pretty tough terrain on it this weekend.

Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

Finished up the end of season cleanup, replaced the belt, adjusted the throttle cable (what a PITA!), cleaned out the airbox and the UMP air filter. I'll put the bed back on tomorrow.

Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

Found out the seats are adjustable and slid mine back about 2 inches last night. Now my knee doesn't hit the dash!
Plan on engineering me a parking break of some kind tonight. We'll see how it goes..

I thought the 29.5" tires fit without the forward a-arms? Do you have a lift kit?

Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

Damn Steven I just took a set off my "S". Went with the HPD inserts instead, and I like them already. THe Holz mounts worked really well, but my Contour HD couldn't handle the vibration. Made the videos all shaky, no matter how I mounted it. The solution was a helmet mount, but that wasn't the optimal solution.

On a different note, I put the bed back on today, re-installed the seats, etc., and painted the rear cage/bumper after I dropped it and dinged up the paint. I'll put that back on tomorrow, then it's wax time.

Really like my HPDs too. Firm, but not a block of metal firm. Real nice design.

Re: What did you do to your RZR-S today?

Are the stock motor mounts weak on the RZR's? Why are yall replacing them?

I replaced the cheesy rubber ones on my AC with solid aluminum ones. With the stock ones, the engine would torque over about 2" when I would get it in a bind. That caused all kinds of problems..

I wouldn't call them weak.
People with modificaitons have noticed some issues.
Others have found some of the mounts break.
But, to the best of my knowledge, it hasn't been a wholesale issue.
