help with light wiring

i want to put some fog lights on my brushgard in the front. want to know how some of you are wiring up the lights. are you going to the stock light switch so they all come on at the same time? and if so would this not be to much current for the switch to handle? or are you guys running a seperate toggle switch stright to the batt? ima be doing some night riding this weekend and want to wrap this up before i go.

thanks
T

Re: help with light wiring

The best way is to use a relay, so that the switches don't see the amperage. Use large gauge wires from the battery to the relay and from the relay to the lights. Then use smaller wire from the relay to a switch.
